2022 PROGRAMS
I Reach Out My Hand Africa has programs set out for the community for the calendar year 2022 - 2023 .
In context we have fundraisers under each Clear project and we appeal to donors and supporters for assistance to realize these goals.
IROMHA believes in creating conducive environments for people in marginalized communities therefor we identify existing gaps and draft up solutions.
Below are the programs that we have set for this year and beyond and all our fundraisers will be dedicated to funding them.
If you have a program you wish to donate to, kindly Add the program name as reference to your donation so we may be able to trace all the help we get.

IROMHA Learning Centre

IROMHA has been running the learning program since 2020 and sessions where are held at least 3 times a week at our farm residence, however we face disruptions mainly from harsh weather conditions and lack of meals for our beneficiaries. From the lack of services for marginalized children in our area, a solution of offering classes is still met with more problems. We have decided to construct one learning block for them, currently we have 10 children attending sessions. To reach our goals we depend solely on Donors and Volunteers like you.
For this program you can financially support us or supply tools to get the clearing and building going.

St Kizito Chapel

This Chapel is over 104 years old, and is managed by a 90 year old widow. It used to be an inn before it was transformed to accommodate the community folks, 98% are people above 40 years who utilize this building.
However this structure is nolonger sound and poses a risk to general life. For peoples safety we have decided as a community to replace it with a modern structure.
To achieve this goal we are appealing to well wishers and like-minded stakeholders to partner and support or donate to this initiative.

Women's Garden
Since 2018 we have been running small projects like fetching water, clearing land and awarding the same with clothes and food stuffs. But now we interviewed a number of women and introduced our grand idea of giving them part of our farm for a community garden. They welcomed it and they are happy because now they can actually spend time doing something that will pay back and they can nature their children. These women are no asking much but just a better life and basic food on their tables. They move around with their children who are supposed to be in school but again they cannot afford the tuition and the school is very far. With that concern in 2020 we started a 3 day week class called "under the tree school" and received stationery support from Zimcares network. Now as we run the community garden we can simultaneously run the learning center.
Sanitary pads Love drive
In 2018 we started a sanitary pads project that we named #sanitarylovedrive which targeted school going girls from disadvantaged social and economic background in Selous and Chegutu.
The need is forever there so we are back again on the same drive but with a different name #Chipochemwanasikana. We are not only aiming at the school going girls but all girls in the community.
